The CTO (Chlorine, Taste, and Odor) carbon block cartridge helps reduce chlorine and improve unpleasant tastes and odors. The GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) cartridge provides additional carbon filtration to help reduce chlorine, unwanted tastes, and odors.

An integrated UV sterilizer adds another stage of water treatment by using ultraviolet light to help inactivate microorganisms under suitable operating conditions. UV performance depends on water clarity, adequate exposure, lamp condition, and proper system maintenance.
